At Oddity Acting, we believe that every young person has a unique quality that sets them apart. Our acting workshops are designed to empower young people to be their authentic self, embrace their individuality, and learn to use that on screen to grow confidently as a young actor and person. Students will be equipped with the tools and techniques they need to build their acting skills, nail their auditions and shine on screen!
Our workshops are led by industry professionals actively working as Casting Assistants for leading UK Casting Directors, who also have professional acting credits in TV, film and theatre. Our tutors bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to the table both in front and behind the camera. This means each class provides students with a unique blend of valuable insights and guidance to stand out from the crowd and showcase their talent.
Oddity Acting warmly welcomes ALL young people with an enthusiasm for acting. No previous acting experience is necessary.

Students explore a range of trusted acting techniques and methods, unlocking their talent to bring characters to life. With these skills, our actors develop a toolkit that supports them throughout their acting journey.
We provide our students with an inside view of the casting process,
preparing them for real industry auditions. In our classes, students work with industry-standard scripts, mastering both in-person and self-tape auditions.
Through engaging exercises and discussions, we break down scripts, delve into characters, and explore the story's essence. Students will learn a range of practical methods for making character choices through script analysis.
Using professional equipment, our students regularly showcase their acting skills on camera to gain comfort and confidence in front of the lens, refining their on-screen presence and technique.
Everyone gets the chance to create their own showreel scenes during class. And at the end of the year, our actors even have the opportunity to take part in an end of year short film production that will be screened to family, friends and industry professionals!
